DMV Verification
The DMV Verification service cross-checks Driver Licenses, Driving Permits and Identification Cards issued by U.S. Jurisdictions against the DMV database. It provides you with the real-time capability to verify ID information against data from the issuing agency by verifying that the ID exists and returning true/false for the following ID attributes:
- Document Number
- State Code
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Name Suffix
- Street
- City
- State
- Zip Code
- Issue Date
- Expiration Date
- Eye Color
- Height
- Weight
- Gender
A verification request may contain any or all of the listed attributes for verification. To ensure privacy, DMV Verification does not return the actual data. The DMV Verification service is currently available in 39 states, with more to come, as indicated in the map below.
KBA Verification
KBA Verification service is a type of Dynamic Knowledge Based Authentication. The service generates a series of multiple choice questions only the individual would know by harvesting data from public records, marketing data, credit reports, and more. The individual has no idea what questions will be asked.
Generated question/answer pairs are unique for every individual. Some possible questions could look like:
What address are you associated with?
What color is your 2003 Honda CRV?
Phone number verification confirms ownership of a phone number and can be an important part of identity verification and fraud prevention.
Sending KBA system confirmation codes confirms and individual is possession of the phone.
The answers given by the individual is compared with the answers on record to calculate an authenticity score.
